VIGNETTE
A 49-year-old man with history of poorly controlled arterial hypertension and cigarette smoking presented to an emergency room 48 hours after the acute onset of chest pain; he was taken to the Cardiac Cath Lab and found to have a right coronary artery occlusion and a left ventricular thrombus. Immediately following cardiac catheterization, he complained of not being able to see. The patient had an emergent catheter cerebral angiogram and received intra-arterial tPA followed by Integrilin.
The video examination was conducted 10 days after the index event.
