69 A 44-year-old man complained of recurrent sacral pain, sexual dysfunction, and radicular symptoms. He had previous resection of a sacral mass, followed by radiation and chemotherapy. He was neurologically intact. A large heterogeneous sacral mass with a high T2 signal intensity is noted on a lumbosacral magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) (Figs. 69-1 and 69-2). Sacral liposarcoma A combined transabdominal, transperineal, and posterior approach was done for resection with neurophysiologic monitoring.
